The Danish Film Critics have nominated "Blood Ties" as one of three candidates for best documentary. The film is directed by Pernille Bervald Jørgensen and Christian Sønderby Jepsen. The two other nominees are "Sepideh" and "Ai Wei Wei - the Fake Case".
