VILLAGE AT THE END OF THE WORLD AT DRTV

Village at the End of the World will premiere on DR2 on the 11th of March 23.10. 

The film is directed by Sarah Gavron og photographed by David Katznelson and takes place in the small village, Niaqornat, who has only 59 inhabitants. The village lays totally isolated in the  Northeast of Greenland and the only teenager of the place, Lars, is obviously dreaming of the world outside. He has 381 friends on facebook but not a single one of his own age in "reality". While the rest of the village struggles for the survival of their community by bringing the old fish factory back to life, Lars is searching Google Earth for exciting places to go; cities with roads, traffick and - girls.

Village at the End of the World premiered at BFI in London in October 2012 - and on cph:dox in November 2012.

The film will also screen at DR2 on the 18th of March 13.05, 14th of May 20.30 and 19th of May 06.30.
